Rohan Singh Pattar came into this world at 08:49 on Monday, the 13th.

we'll glue a hockey stick to his hands in no time
i've already bought him the jersey

Now I've been asked.... what does "Rohan" mean

apparently my sister and brother-in-law liked it and heard it from The Lord of the Rings trilogy... besides, it kinda sounds like a brown name

well.... i did some research and found three options

Rohan in old English means "land of the horses" hence JRR Tolkien's riders of rohan

Rohan in Hindi means "sandalwood"..... sandalwood????!!!???

But if you read Rohan in sanskrit, it means "ascending light"... i can live with that

i'll break the "land of horses" to him when he's around 8

"sandalwood" will have to wait until his teens and he does something stupid (he's a brown boy, it's bound to happen)... this will be my Trump card on him

nonetheless, it's wednesday now and i still have a permasmile!
