So the New Zealand All Blacks defeated France last night, by a score of 40-13, to take third place in the 2003 Rugby World Cup. To me, third place is the second loser!

I was stunned last week when they lost to the Aussies in the semi-finals. The last time I felt like that was when Team Canada lost the world cup of hockey to the U.S. There was a feeling of disgust thrown in. Main reason was because there was no one to blame except the players themselves. They let down a whole nation's dream for the past four years. And now they'll have to wait four more to regain the respect.
