Explain this to me...

At the HMV yesterday and was looking to buy the tenth anniversary edition of Kevin Smith's masterpiece, CLERKS. You know... just to get well into it again before the sequel comes out in theatres next friday.

Anyways, looking for the film, i found it in the usual comedy rack, priced at $42.99

On my way to the cashier, i glanced at the "movies on sale" rack. Looked at the bottom which had the special vaccuum sealed 2 movies for 19.99 and noticed "Mallrats" was on one of the packages.

Turning it over to see what film was packaged with it, i was shocked to see it was the 10th anniversary edition of CLERKS. Packaged with MALLRATS, but for less than half the price of what i would pay if i were to purchase CLERKS alone.

So looking back:

10th anniversary edition of CLERKS: $42.99

10th anniversary edition of CLERKS, with MALLRATS: $19.99

i asked the cashier what was up with that, she looked like a deer in the headlights.
